I remember being at the skating rink with my church. We had rented out the whole place for "family night". I was wearing a pair of pants that had a really difficult button to undo.
I skated for awhile, knowing that I needed to go to the bathroom, but, as kids do, I kept putting it off because I was having too much fun. I waited until the last possible second to skate over to the bathroom, but I couldn't get my pants unbuttoned fast enough. Yes, I actually wet myself.
Luckily, the pants were very dark blue, so it didn't really show. I skated out and told my mom I needed to go home immediately and she told me to go wait outside by the car.
Once I was out there, my friend's dad saw me because he was waiting in a car nearby. It was winter out, so he told me to wait in his car until my mom came out. I politely declined his invitation, not telling him the reason.
The thing that makes this story really funny was my age at the time. I was probably 11 or 12.

I remember going grocery shopping with my mom. One particular time, we shopped, paid, and drove home. When we got to our driveway, my mom opened the trunk only to find it empty. We had forgotten to load the groceries into the car. So, we turned around and went back to Kroger, where they had put our cart in the freezer, knowing that we would be back.
